Clear terms on subscriptions — and why your booking refunds are between you and the venue.
Last updated: [INSERT DATE]
There are two separate kinds of money in the UtsavPlaces world, and this policy covers only the first:
Subscriptions are a flat periodic fee that gives venues and agents access to receive customer enquiries. Because access is delivered immediately and continuously through the subscription period:
To stop a subscription from renewing, [describe how — e.g. contact us at [EMAIL] or use the account settings]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Any payment reference or dispute should be raised within [7] days of the charge.
Free trials. New venues receive a set number of free enquiries before any payment is due, and agents receive free daily enquiries up to a limit. No fee is charged during the free tier, so there is nothing to refund for it.
UtsavPlaces never collects your booking payment. When you book a venue, you pay the venue directly. Therefore:
Subscription payments are currently collected via [UPI / bank transfer]. [Update this section if you add an online payment gateway later, along with its own refund-processing timelines.]
